Reiki Energy Healing

Reiki is a gentle, energy-based healing practice rooted in original medicine traditions, with ancestral influences from India, Nepal, and Japan. Practices centered on life force energy and hands-on healing have been used by traditional and folk medicine practitioners for thousands of years, with Reiki as it is known today taking formal shape in Japan in the early 1900s. Through light touch or hands placed just above the body, Reiki supports the body’s natural ability to restore balance and regulate the nervous system. It is commonly used to support emotional dysregulation, anxiety, chronic stress, high blood pressure, inflammation, and sleep challenges. By helping the body shift out of survival mode and into rest and repair, Reiki supports healing of the body, mind, and heart, creating space for grounding, clarity, and a deeper sense of ease.

01

What To Expect

During your session, you will remain fully clothed and rest comfortably, either lying down or seated. Your practitioner will use light touch just above the body to support relaxation and energetic balance. People often experience warmth, gentle sensations, emotional release, deep calm, or simply a sense of rest. Each experience is unique.

03

After Care

Following a session, it is common to feel relaxed, grounded, or reflective. Drink water, move gently, and allow space for rest if possible. Emotional processing can continue for a day or two as the body integrates the session.

02

How To Prepare

Wear comfortable clothing and arrive with an open, relaxed mindset. There is nothing you need to do or fix during the session. Eating lightly beforehand, limiting caffeine, and allowing a few quiet moments before arrival can help your body settle. You may also choose to reflect on an intention or simply come as you are.

04

Your Choice

Reiki is a collaborative and consent-based practice. You may ask questions, set intentions, or request no touch at any time. Your comfort, boundaries, and agency are always centered.
